I suffered from complications from a sports related calf injury and after several months was referred on to Richard Freeman. I have found him to very approachable and easy to talk to and someone who takes time to explain things in a simple manner. Very quickly he was able to put in place a course of action to help and I now feel much more positive about my recovery

Dr Freeman was spot on with the diagnoses and after treatment (injection) my ankle is back to where it is from the sports injury. Total recommend his treatment at Spire Health.

I had my left ankle reconstructed after suffering years of problems ,but after seeing Dr Richard Freeman my ankle feels like new, the care and attention received by him was the best i have had after so long trying to get my ankle sorted.
If you ever need a ankle problem solving i recommend seeing him.

I am a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with sub-specialist training in both Foot & Ankle surgery and Major Trauma.
My elective practice includes all aspects for foot and ankle surgery including minimally invasive surgery, arthroscopy and total ankle replacement. I have a particular interest in sports injuries and have fellowship experience of managing professional athletes.
I am the principle surgeon for foot an ankle trauma in Brighton and frequently manage referrals from across the South Coast including complex deformity and bone infection cases.
